Nurmay Missions exists to bring the Gospel to people in some of the most remote regions of Kenya. We pursue this mission by providing high quality Christian education, training indigenous missionaries, and planting churches in villages where access to biblical teaching has been limited or nonexistent. With the support of donors around the world, lives are being changed, communities are gaining stability, and the hope of Christ is reaching new places every year.

Nurmay Christian Academy (NCA) is one of the clearest reflections of this impact. The school began in 2016 with only 21 students and has grown into a thriving learning community that served 367 students in 2025. Many children in rural Kenya would not have access to consistent teachers, safe classrooms, or daily meals without NCA. Here, students receive a strong academic foundation, two nutritious meals each school day, and a learning environment that reflects the love of Christ. Students consistently score well above national averages, and our first three graduating classes now total 76 students. More than 200 children and 75 adults have made decisions for Christ through the ministry of the school, and families are seeing education as a path toward hope and opportunity. With construction underway on a new multistory building, we are preparing to welcome hundreds of additional students in the years ahead. This growth is possible because donors provide the resources needed for classrooms, teachers, meals, and scholarships.

MiTEC, our Missions Training and Empowerment Center, is preparing a new generation of African leaders who will pastor, plant churches, and disciple others in places that once had little access to the Gospel. Since 2020, more than three dozen students have completed the six month missions training program, and many now lead churches or serve as ministry leaders in their own communities. Each year, hundreds of pastors and lay leaders attend MiTEC seminars, receiving biblical teaching that strengthens their ability to guide their congregations. Youth conferences hosted by MiTEC continue to reach thousands, including a gathering of more than 1,200 students in August 2025 who came for worship, teaching, and a clear presentation of the hope found in Jesus. Support from donors helps provide training materials, housing, and meals for these students as they prepare to share the Gospel across Kenya.

Our church planting ministry, All Tribes Community Churches (ATCC), now includes 12 congregations that meet weekly for worship and discipleship. Many of these churches were planted by MiTEC graduates serving in remote or underserved areas. More than 1,000 people gather in these churches each week. In villages like Masalani, where we planted the first and still the only Christian church in the community, people are hearing about Jesus for the first time. In the past two years, we have seen hundreds of decisions for Christ and have baptized 133 believers. Each church represents long term spiritual presence, ongoing discipleship, and hope in places that have rarely had access to it.

Nurmay Missions also serves families through practical and compassionate care. These efforts include housing repairs for widows, food and clothing distribution, clean water initiatives, and high school sponsorships. Each project reflects our desire to meet both physical and spiritual needs with dignity and care. For many families in Gotani and the surrounding villages, these expressions of compassion communicate the love of Christ in clear and tangible ways.
For donors around the world, your partnership creates long lasting and meaningful change. Your generosity equips teachers, trains missionaries, builds classrooms, and sends the Gospel into places where it has rarely been heard. You help children receive an education that gives them a future and a faith that gives them hope. Together, we are strengthening local communities, raising up leaders, and advancing the mission of Jesus in Kenya one life at a time.
